With a wonderful country house of the 80s and 90sq.m. our new architectural study is related to the Sani area of Halkidiki. Our approach was aimed at respecting the architectural shell and at the same time highlighting the interior spaces through the decoration study. Our influences for the interior design concept came from the Italian countryside and the Umbria region of Italy.
The construction materials, color palettes and fabric choices were based on materials found in similar homes in the Italian countryside and regions of Tuscany.
The single-family house is located in a well-known coastal area of Halkidiki, of special ecological and nature-loving interest. The building is developed on two levels and has two spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, a single living-dining area and the kitchen area. A special feature of the residence that was preserved and highlighted is the wooden ceiling.
Through the lighting study we wanted to highlight the wooden ceiling and with the appropriate selection and arrangement of the lighting fixtures we achieved uniformity in the distribution of light in each individual space. Finally, the selection of the furniture and decorative elements was made based on criteria of ergonomics, functionality, utilization of the space and maintaining the concept that we wanted to give to the specific project.
