The architectural study concerns the renovation of a section of 80 sq m of a detached house occupying 300 sq m in the area of Panorama of Thessaloniki. An important condition of this particular project was the transformation of this single space into a multi-space that will provide various possibilities to the owners of the house.

In more detail, in this space it was requested that the kitchen, the dining room, the office, and the living room coexist in the architectural design. It is a kind of elegant loft within the detached house. It has large windows in the south and east, as well as two entrances, one from the inside and one from the outside of the residence.

An important parameter of the design was the requirement of the owners to maintain the existing

floors, frames, the fireplace as well as the existing false ceilings.

Therefore, the architectural study completely respected this desire and the interior design was based on the design of furniture, wooden structures, as well as on the strengthening of the existing ceilings with the design of new ones in order to achieve a new lighting study that will meet the needs of the owners.

The choice of construction materials, colors and fabrics was made with the utmost care, in order to create a pleasant and visually interesting environment, so that the new architectural composition can be “integrated” and become part of the existing single-family house without being considered a separate piece of it.
