The architectural study concerns the interior and lighting design of a small office of 35m2 in the center of Thessaloniki. The challenge in this particular project was to maximize the use of the existing space, so that it can accommodate three workplaces, a conference room, as well as some secondary spaces such as the kitchenette and wc.

The needs of the office owners include ergonomics, functionality and the creation of storage points, such as the bookcase, as well as custom-made furniture with drawers and rows of cabinets.

The feeling that was chosen to be given to the office space was that of intimacy, of warmth, thus creating a welcoming professional space for both employees and visitors.

In the context of the study, earthy color palettes were used in furnishing styles and fabrics, where in combination with the wooden floor and the special veneers of the furniture, they provide a calm and at the same time pleasant working environment.

Finally, in the context of the lighting study, great importance was given to the lighting intensity values, the color rendering index and the color temperature. Based on these parameters, the appropriate selection of lighting fixtures was made and they were placed in the appropriate positions based on the study.
