It is an interior decoration and lighting study in a 100 sq m apartment. in the area of Kalamaria in eastern Thessaloniki.
In project 3A one of the main requirements of the apartment owners was to find places for hidden storage in all spaces, both for aesthetic and organizational reasons. The radical renovation of the house was based on the creation of a single space in which the living room, the dining room and the kitchen coexist, while the general layout includes three bedrooms (a master bedroom and two children’s rooms), a large bathroom with storage areas and a small wc in which the laundry was placed.

The aim of the architectural study was to design a pleasant and warm environment for the hospitality of the family members who inhabit it.
In more detail, in the living room, the TV furniture dominates opposite the corner sofa, which at the back has an impressive perforated wooden panel that is illuminated with hidden lighting.
The dining area is surrounded by the construction of the kitchen that covers all the required needs of the family, while they are characterized by minimal style and design lines.

The master bedroom is made up of a large wardrobe that embraces the double bed, utilizing every point for storage, in a way that it is balanced within the bedroom space.

The two children’s bedrooms aim to ensure a calm environment for relaxation, study and play for the two children. In both there are semi-double beds with corner headboards which are part of the composition of the wardrobes, while at the same time custom made desks were designed that serve the children’s needs to the maximum.
Regarding the areas of the bathroom and wc, granite tiles were chosen in earthy tones, but with special patterns, creating an impressive effect in both bathrooms, while at the same time all the strong points were used to place storage furniture for the better service of the owners.

One of the biggest challenges of the project was the low internal height due to the existing slab. For this reason, as part of the lighting study, impressive panels were designed on the false ceilings in all the individual spaces in which hanging lamps were placed, as well as recessed led spot lighting bodies, in appropriate positions and in an appropriate number, in order to meet the needs of the apartment in a functional lighting. At the same time, atmospheric lighting was achieved both with the use of hidden lighting in ceilings and vertical walls, and with the application of wall-mounted lights, such as sconces in the living room and bathroom areas.
